A Fast Checklist for Anxiety
Here is a list of the 4 main forms of anxiety
that too many people suffer with. It is important to recognize anxiety symptoms and get help. Take the anxiety test if you suffer from any of the following:
Social Anxiety Disorder SAD, Generalized Anxiety and Panic Attacks
Social Anxiety Disorder SAD
• Fear that you are being judged
• Worrying about embarrassing or humiliating yourself in front of others
• Concern that you’ll offend someone
• Intense fear of being, interacting or talking with strangers
• Fear that others will notice that you are anxious
• Fear that you may blush, sweat, tremble or have a shaky voice
• Avoiding doing things or speaking to people out because you are afraid or embarrassed
• Avoiding situations where you might be the center of attention
• Having anxiety in anticipation of an activity or event
• Analyzing your performance and identifying flaws in your interactions
• Expecting the worst possible consequences from a negative experience during a social situation
II. Performance Anxiety or Stage fright
• Nausea and an uneasy feeling in your stomach
• Inability to concentrate
• Fear
• Racing pulse and rapid breathing
• Tight throat and dry mouth
• Trembling hands, knees, voice and lips
• Sweaty and cold hands
• Nausea and an uneasy feeling in your stomach
• Vision changes
III. Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Excessive, ongoing worry and tension
• Making problems bigger
• Restlessness or a feeling of being “hyper”
• Irritability
• Muscle tension, headaches, sweating, nausea
• Difficulty concentrating
• The need to go to the bathroom frequently
• Tiredness
• Trouble falling or staying asleep
• Trembling
• Being easily startled
IV. Panic Disorder
• Palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated heart rate
• Trembling or shaking
• Sensations of shortness of breath or smothering
• Feelings of choking
• Chest pain or discomfort
• Nausea or abdominal distress
• Feeling dizzy, unsteady, light-headed, or faint
• Chills or sweating
• Paresthesia (numbness or tingling sensations)
• Derealization (feelings of unreality) or depersonalization (being detached from oneself)
• Fear of losing control or “going crazy”
• Fear of dying
